Creative Curtains solved a dramatic problem for Arthouse Cinema when we needed Blackout Curtains; on a shoestring; and over the Summer Christmas Holidays.
Without so much as blinking they solved our problem simply, beautifully and effectively. I knew that I would come back to them when my children were older and I could finally get rid of the grubby playtime things we had had hanging since they were babies.
Finally the day came when I could call Creative Curtains. I had waited for the sticky fingered ones to get to an age when they wouldn’t make my curtains look like lamingtons – and when that day dawned, Les met me at home and we had a pow wow. Brilliantly he had guessed the clean modernist direction I wanted to head in and bought swathes of samples with him. What a great idea to hang some of these in the lounge and family room over time to see if they were “liveable”. How the samples changed from dawn to dusk; and under different lighting as we changed the home over to halogens. The test areas for new paints had the new curtains hanging next to them as visitors came and went and we gathered opinions, finally we had our plan.
The wait was tiny. I have waited longer for fish and chips than I did for Creative Curtains to finish the job. The install went without hitch and the final product is clean, relaxing, warm and beautiful. From go to wo, the the service and communication we experienced were without fault. I would not hesitate to recommend them from either our professional, commercial install at Arthouse Cinema or the great job they did for our home.
